
As part of LINAFI ‘s activity for 2024,the fight against the Importation of halieutic products has been prioritised. This was declared during the 16th Ordinary Session of the Board of Directors of the Limbe Nautical Arts and Fisheries Institute ( LINAFI).
The session which took place on the 12th January 2024 in Douala, was presided over by the Minister of Livestock Fisheries and Animal Industries,Board Chair of the Limbe Nautical Arts and Fisheries Institute.

Among LINAFI’s activities for 2024 is the initial and continuous training of students,applied research and governance and institutional support.
Meanwhile, the major projects realised in 2023 included the extension of aquaculture facilities and the enormous contribution in the fight against the importation of halieutic products. These activities will be extended to 2024 alongside the acquisition of a 30 seater bus to enable students visit industrial farms.
The budget voted stood at 5 hundred and 63 million with an increase of 7 million francs CFA
Activities for 2023 were executed at 85 per cent.

The Limbe Nautical Arts and Fisheries Institute is a higher professional and Technical Institute, which trains Cameroonians and foreigners in diverse fisheries and nautical science domains.
