WASH off AMR
Welcome to the application form for the WASH off AMR Campaign.
This campaign is designed to equip undergraduates with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to effectively communicate and engage children and communities on WASH and antimicrobial resistance (AMR).
Selected champions will learn about:
- The fundamentals of AMR and its impact on global health.
- WASH and AMR
- Social and behavioral change communication (SBCC) theories
- Tools for effective health communication and audience-specific engagements
- Strategies for engaging with diverse communities, including gender-sensitive approaches.
- Policy advocacy and the role of One Health in tackling AMR.
We encourage applications from passionate students who are ready to dedicate their time and skills to raising awareness and creating meaningful change in their communities.
Eligibility:
- Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student in a Nigerian university and a member of a student-led AMR club or International Veterinary Student Association Nigeria.
- Passionate about public health, communication, and community engagement.
- Able to commit to the training program and subsequent activities, spanning four months.
